Ingersoll Rand has different warranties depending on the type of tool. They offer a 1-Year Standard, 2-Year Cordless Tool, Lifetime Limited, and 90-Day Warranty. If you have any questions that we cannot answer, you can always e-mail Ingersoll Rand at the above address to resolve your issues.

Your tools will be warrantied based on the date of purchase, so always keep a copy of your receipt for reference and proof. If you do not have a receipt, the warranty will be based on the Serial Code on the tool which can be a significantly shorter period of time than when you purchased your tool.

When bringing in your tool for warranty repair, please bring a copy of your receipt so that we can quickly and easily access the warranty process and get your tool back to you as quickly as possible.

Ingersoll Rand Warranty Rules

1-Year Standard Warranty

There is 1-Year Standard Warranty coverage on defect in material or workmanship from the date of purchase.

2-Year Warranty

There is 2-Year Warranty coverage on defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase for the following impact products:

  • 2115MAX

  • 2135MAX

  • 2235MAX

  • 2145/2155MAX

Cordless Tool Warranty

All Cordless tools except precision fastening tools have 3-Year Warranty coverage on the cordless tools and battery chargers. There is 2-Year or 1-Year coverage on batteries (model specific). Also, there is free replacement coverage in the 1st year on all tools, batteries and chargers.

Lifetime Limited Warranty

This is available on sockets and socket sets.

90-Day Warranty

There is a 90-Day Warranty on parts and accessories.
