If you do not turn in your paperwork within the 90-day time period, you can go on-line at: https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/product-registration or call: (800) 525-2579 to get an extension of your 3-Year Limited Warranty with a copy of your receipt.

If you have a Ridgid band tool that was purchased before February 2004 and you have a copy of your receipt, you have a Lifetime Warranty. All other Ridgid tools will be serviced under the LSA# or the 3-Year Limited Warranty as is appropriate.

What is covered?

The Lifetime Service Agreement covers all worn parts in properly maintained tools. This includes normal wear items such as: brushes, chucks, motors, switches, gears and even cordless batteries in your qualifying RIDGID Brand hand held and stationary power tools. These programs also cover replacement rings, driver blades and bumpers on RIDGID Brand pneumatic tools.

What is not covered?

The Lifetime Service Agreement only covers wear and tear or failure of the tool arising under normal usage and proper maintenance. It does not cover malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, alteration, modification or repair by anyone other than an authorized service center for RIDGID brand hand held, pneumatic and stationary power tools.

Any damage or malfunction inflicted upon the tool by the user or other external sources, or any failure to comply with the warnings and instructions in the operator's manual is not covered.

Consumable accessories provided with the tool such as, but not limited to, saw blades, planer blades and knives, insert bits, drill bits, grinding wheels and discs, cutoff wheels, sandpaper, safety glasses and fasteners are not covered.

Certain product categories are not eligible for coverage under the Lifetime Service Agreement. These categories include, but are not limited to, any free or promotional serialized piece of equipment provided beyond the contents of the purchased tool kit, generators, pressure washers, radios, accessory batteries, accessory chargers, plumbing equipment, extension cords, heated gear, storage, hand tools and wet/dry vacs.

How to Obtain Service

The Lifetime Service Agreement (if accepted), commences after the expiration of the standard RIDGID 3-Year Limited Warranty. To obtain service for this RIDGID tool on either the 3-year limited warranty, the Lifetime Service Agreement, or the recon limited warranty, you must bring the equipment to an authorized RIDGID Service Center.

When requesting service under the Lifetime Service Argeement, you must present your Lifetime Service Agreement Identification Number and proper personal identification (a valid driver's license, passport, or military i.d.). If a cordless tool kit requires a battery/ charger replacement, the tool console, battery and charger purchased together must be present for proper diagnosis and warranty verification.

Replacements

If a serialized piece of equipment with LSA status is ever replaced, the customer has 90 days to call (866) 539-1710 and re-register that piece of equipment. Proof of replacement is required. Pieces of eligible equipment that are not re-registered within 90 days of replacement are not covered by the Lifetime Service Agreement. This includes batteries and chargers along with tools.

Additional Limitations

The Lifetime Service Agreement is not a warranty; it does not alter or limit the 3-Year Limited Service Warranty provided with your product, and it is not intended to create any implied warranties or rights of any kind including any warranties of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Any such implied warranties are expressly disclaimed. To the extent that they cannot be disclaimed they are hereby limited to three years from the date of purchase. One World Technologies, Inc. and RIDGID are not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
